SoMila was registered in 2022. It is black woman owned and currently 100% owned and run by Nomoya Martha Dladla. The name So Mila essentially means we shall grow in Xhosa. It is inspired by both Nomoya kids’ names i.e. Kwezi and Mila_Ande. The logo reflects growth, aspiration, integrity and passion with a hint of wellness, working in conjunction with the name Kwezi meaning morning star, which is used in the depiction of inner light is the inspiration behind the logo. The icon forms an S shape from the word So Mila and within it various symbolic elements are used half moon which represents light derived from Kwezi. The slogan We Shall Grow means we strive to grow through: • Innovation and learning • Producing quality products • Excellence • Passion • Integrity • Perseverance and Determination
